Stanhope Learning

Hi, I'm Cosmin.

I teach every session of this course myself. I've spent more than 15 years in IT and enterprise software, and a big part of that was training people to use new systems, live.

Training, at scale

I've run more than 100 live trainings for software users and administrators. The largest had more than 400 people taking part live, so I had to keep it simple, keep it moving, and make sure people could actually do the steps afterwards, not just watch them.

The format that worked best for me is the one this course uses. For a pharmaceutical client, I designed sessions where people got the steps and did them live while my colleagues and I watched and helped. People remembered how to use the system because they had done it, not because they had seen it on a slide.

AI, in real companies

I've led AI implementations at Fortune Global 500 pharmaceutical companies, with rollouts that reached thousands of users.

A lot of that work was hands-on. I tested AI answers with clients for accuracy and speed, set limits so the AI wouldn't make things up, and helped rewrite the instructions behind it based on what users told us. I also ran user sessions, Q&As and train-the-trainer sessions, so I've seen first-hand where beginners get stuck and what makes it click.

AI, every day

I use Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Codex daily. I keep my notes and projects in plain Markdown files, and I run my own AI knowledge system with small automations that keep track of things and send me summaries. In session 6, I'll show you exactly how that works.

I have a web developer background and deep expertise in software delivery and AI implementations, which is why session 7 is about building and publishing a website, and why I'll show you the AI design tools I use.

Why this course

Most people I meet use AI like a search box, and then decide it's either magic or useless. I think it's neither. It's a tool you get good at with a bit of guided practice, in a small group where you can ask anything. That's what these four weeks are for.
